Abby Goodman Molina Healthcare Inc. Brings Varied Work Experiences to Bear in Career



An Information Technology manager in Long Beach, California, Abby Goodman has worked with Molina Healthcare Inc. since 2015.  Goodman has been responsible for a number of important initiatives: managing the infrastructure and security platforms for mergers, acquisitions and divestments was one of those primary initiatives.   

Abby Goodman Molina Healthcare also led the push for a flexible work program wherein IT professionals at Molina Healthcare Inc. may now work remotely, while assuring reliable network connectivity.  Goodman helped enable new Molina Healthcare Inc. locations while managing the budget for network hardware.

IT Project Manager Abby Goodman of Molina Healthcare Supported Supply Chain Management



Upon undertaking her IT Project Manager Position at Molina Healthcare Inc. in Long Beach, California, Abby Goodman Molina Healthcare began management of the Supply Chain Management project, which oversaw and anticipated the full life cycles of client computing hardware company-wide.  



She helped to unify new lines of business and establish new Molina Healthcare Inc. facilities in the United States.  Goodman also managed and oversaw Molina network infrastructure while reducing vendor costs and tabulating hardware needs.

Abby Goodman Molina Healthcare Reduced Costs, Analyzed Teleconferencing Systems



Later to take a Project Manager position with Molina Healthcare Inc., Abby Goodman took on the task of Project Coordinator for IT security initiatives at Apollo Education Group, enhancing monitoring and logging of system jobs and analyzing teleconferencing systems.   





From there, Goodman was promoted to Project Manager for unifying teleconferencing systems into a single platform, thereby reducing telecom costs.  Other efforts of Goodman included work reducing campus network footprints and migrating the University of Phoenix’ Custom Classroom platform to Blackboard.

Abby Goodman Molina Healthcare Inc. Gained Experience at Apollo Education Group



During her time at Apollo Education Group, Abby Goodman was responsible for keeping all stakeholders up-to-date on project objectives and the managing of project budgets.  She also was intimately involved in solving issues, making changes and initiating planning and work sessions which dealt with design, testing and ensuring full functionality requirements.  






AbbyGoodman recently of Molina Healthcare Inc. in Long Beach, California attended the University of Arizona in Tucson before enrolling at Scottsdale Community College of Scottsdale, Arizona.  Goodman completed her Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Tourism Management at Arizona State University in Tempe in 2009, and from there immediately embarked upon a position with the Frys.com Open as a Tournament Assistant in Scottsdale.   

Assistant the tournament staff with planning and operations for this professional golf tournament, Goodman pitched in to Chair the volunteer Ticket Sales and Finance committees and help with recruitment and scheduling.

Abby Goodman Molina Healthcare: Volunteer Experience



Abby Goodman is an IT Manager who has worked with Molina Healthcare since 2015. She has earned a positive reputation among her colleagues for a compassionate, enthusiastic personality paired with a dedicated work ethic. When she isn’t working, she can often be found volunteering to benefit causes she believes in. 

 
Since childhood, Molina Healthcare’s Abby Goodman has loved giving her time to others. “I found my love for volunteering in high-school,” she says. “We had a class that offered to find volunteer work and write about our experiences and the organizations that it impacted. In order to graduate, my program required 300+ hours of volunteer work.”

Goodman went on to discuss the leaders and other volunteer team members that she met while donating her time. 

In college, before working with Molina Healthcare, Abby Goodman continued her volunteer efforts and has now given more than five hundred hours (over twenty full days) of her time to improving the lives of others.
